We have rebranded from Athena Hair & Beauty.

Simas Hair Lounge is something that is more personal to me. It reflects me my personality and in all the 10 years I have been in business I can honestly say since rebranding and using my own name I feel so proud and excited.

I started as Athena Hair and Beauty at the age of 27 after leaving the hospitality background of many years, and honestly I didn't have the foggiest idea of what direction I was heading in, 9 years on and i’m still meeting amazing people from may different towns, cities and countries.

When working as Athena Hair and Beauty I always had this feeling that I was hiding behind something, I always worked like I was working for someone. I always got told I should feel ‘proud of myself’, but something was always blocking me from that proud feeling. Since being in lockdown I reconnected with myself and found what was stopping me. It' was the everyday feeling of going into work and owning a name that didn’t represent me.

I Love being Creative, and have joined a few creative families to help me represent me.

I have a lot of love and respect for my clients & family without you my visions wouldn't be reality.
